Getting started

What LocalQuiver is, who it’s for, and what happens when you join.

LocalQuiver is done-for-you marketing for local businesses. We set up and run the things that bring customers to your door: more five-star reviews and thoughtful replies, a sharp Google profile, a website that wins you work, helpful local articles, social posts, digital loyalty cards and branded invoices.

It all lives in one app, and your own account manager sets it up and keeps it running.

Local businesses across the UK whose customers find them on Google and choose them on reviews. That includes cafés, restaurants, pubs, plumbers, electricians, builders, garages, dentists, vets and florists. If people search for what you do near them, LocalQuiver is built for you.

Yes, anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland. We’re not taking on businesses outside the UK at the moment.

Not at all. We set everything up, connect your accounts and get the agents writing in your tone of voice. After that, most of it runs by itself. The app shows you what’s happening whenever you want a look, and if you’d rather just ask, your account manager is there.

As little as you like. Review requests, replies to good Google reviews, articles and review posts can all run by themselves. Some things can wait for a quick yes from you, such as new articles and Content Studio posts, and you can let them run automatically once you’re happy with them.

Lower-star reviews wait for a person by default, with a draft reply ready to go.

Your account manager does. They build your website and review page, connect your Google Business Profile and social pages, set your agents up in your tone, and check everything is working before handing you the keys.

A short chat with us, and access to the accounts you already own, like your Google Business Profile and any social media pages. You sign in to Google yourself to connect it, so you never share a password.

Taking the Website & SEO module? A domain is included free, or we can use the one you already have.

It depends on what you choose. Your review page and review requests can start as soon as your accounts are connected. A website takes a little longer because we build it around your business, and it stays hidden from Google until you’re happy with it. Your account manager will talk you through the timings at the start.

No. LocalQuiver runs in your web browser on your phone, tablet or computer, so there’s nothing to install. Your customers don’t need an app either: your review page opens in their browser, and loyalty cards live in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Yes. Book a free chat and we’ll show you, with no pressure. Or ask for a free visibility report to see where you show on Google Maps, how your reviews compare with nearby rivals, what AI assistants say about you, and the changes most likely to make a difference.

Yes. Keep your WordPress website and the Search Agent can publish articles to it, while review widgets show your reviews on almost any site. Your Google profile, social pages and Shopify store stay yours and simply connect in. If your job or booking software works with Zapier, we can set it up so new customers get a review request.

A bit of both. The software does the heavy lifting around the clock, and a real person, your account manager, sets it up, keeps an eye on it and helps whenever you need it.

Plans & pricing

Any module for £59, any two for £99, or everything for £149. Here’s how it all works.

Each module is £59 a month on its own. Any two modules are £99 a month, and Max, with all 6, is £149 a month.

Every plan is set up for you, comes with your own account manager, and starts with 30 days free.

See the plans

Each module does one job well:

  • Reputation: more five-star reviews, and replies in your tone
  • Visibility: your Google profile, Google Maps rankings, AI visibility and competitors
  • Website & SEO: your website and local articles, with a free domain
  • Social: your best reviews as posts, plus the Content Studio
  • Loyalty: digital stamp and points cards
  • Invoices: branded invoices by text or email

All 6 modules for £149 a month. Bought one by one they’d be £354, so you save £205 every month. Max also comes with priority support, and articles and review posts up to every day.

Then Max is the better deal. Three modules bought separately would be £177 a month, so for £149 you get all 6 and save money too.

Yes, your first 30 days are free on any plan. Tell us what you’d like and your account manager will set it up. If it’s not for you, let us know before the 30 days are up and you won’t be charged.

Our prices are shown without VAT. If VAT applies, it’s added and shown separately on your invoice.

No, not for a normal setup. Building your website, connecting your accounts and getting your agents running are all part of your plan.

If you ever need custom work or extra support beyond that, we’ll look at it case by case. We’re always fair, and wherever we can, we’ll simply help without charging.

There’s no long contract. Monthly plans run month to month, so you can stop whenever you like. If you’d rather pay for a year up front, ask us about our annual discounts.

Just email us at hello@localquiver.co.uk. Your plan runs to the end of the billing month you cancel in, and you won’t be charged after that. We don’t refund part months.

Yes. Pay for the year up front and we’ll take a good chunk off. Yearly plans run for twelve months and are paid in advance. If you cancel part way through, your plan carries on until the end of the year you’ve paid for.

Yes. Add a module, swap one for another, or move up to Max at any time. Your account manager makes the change, and everything you’ve already set up stays put.

Yes. If you want a different mix, a different pace, or something we haven’t thought of, tell us what your business needs and we’ll put a package together. Custom packages include priority support.

By card, monthly or yearly in advance, through our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

Yes. Review requests by text and email are included up to your plan’s monthly allowance, and your account manager will tell you what yours is. If you reach it, sending pauses until the next month, unless you move up a plan.

We’ll always give you at least 30 days’ notice before any price change, and it only applies from your next billing date after the notice ends.

Reviews & reputation

Getting more five-star reviews, replying to them, and doing it all by the rules. This is the Reputation module.

By asking every customer at the right moment, so you don’t have to. Requests go out by text or email with a link to your own branded review page, and up to two gentle follow-ups go to anyone who hasn’t tapped through yet.

Customers standing in front of you can scan a QR code or tap one of our tap cards instead.

Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Trustpilot and Checkatrade. Reviews from all five land in one inbox. You choose which sites appear on your review page and in what order, with Google marked as recommended.

Replies post automatically on Google. For Facebook, Tripadvisor, Trustpilot and Checkatrade, LocalQuiver writes the reply for you, and you copy and paste it on that site.

By default, new four and five-star Google reviews. You can change that to five-star only, or every review. With the default, lower ratings wait for you with a draft reply ready, so the tricky ones always get a human touch.

No. You choose the tone, from professional to quirky, and the length. Each reply is written from what the reviewer actually said, in the language they wrote in, and it never invents details about the job. You can add a sign-off and a list of things it must never say.

Usually within the hour, during the hours you choose. The default is 8am to 8pm in your time zone, so nothing goes out in the middle of the night.

No, and nobody honest can promise that. What we can do is help you reply calmly and well, and ask every happy customer for a review, so one bad day never defines you.

No. Filtering out unhappy customers is called review gating, and it breaks Google’s rules and UK consumer law. Every customer sees the same public review buttons.

Customers can also choose to tell you something privately. That’s an extra option, never a replacement for the public ones, and it lands in your inbox without being published.

Yes, asking every customer is fine. What isn’t allowed is offering something in return for a review, posting fake reviews, or only asking the customers you expect to be happy. LocalQuiver asks everyone, fairly.

Physical cards, stickers and stands that we supply. A customer taps their phone on one and your review page opens, ready for them to leave a review. They work well on the counter, at reception or on the dashboard of the van.

They stop as soon as the customer taps through to a review site, records a video or sends you feedback. Nobody can see exactly who wrote which review, so tapping through is the signal LocalQuiver uses.

Every text includes an opt-out link and every email has an unsubscribe link. Once someone opts out, LocalQuiver won’t message them on that channel again, because it checks before every send. You can also add someone to the opt-out list yourself.

Yes. Review emails are branded with your business, and there’s an option to send them from your own mailbox, so they come from an address your customers already know.

Yes. From your review page, a customer can record a short video on their phone, up to two minutes, or upload one. With their consent, it lands in your inbox ready to watch and download.

Yes. Review widgets add your best reviews to any website that accepts a line of code, including WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace. New reviews appear by themselves within a few minutes. Websites we build already show your reviews, no widget needed.

Yes. Catch-up mode works through your backlog of older Google reviews at 5, 10 or 15 a day, so the gaps fill in steadily rather than all at once.

Google & AI visibility

Showing up on Google Maps and in AI answers, and seeing how you compare. This is the Visibility module.

Everything that helps people find you on Google and in AI answers: Google Business Profile editing and optimisation, monthly Google Maps rank tracking across your area, AI visibility checks on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and tracking against the competitors you pick.

Your description, phone number, website, opening hours, holiday hours, services, social links, and the yes-or-no attributes Google offers for your category, plus your logo and cover photo.

Before anything is sent, you see the old and new side by side, and only the changes go to Google.

Not from LocalQuiver. Your business name, address, map pin and categories are managed inside Google itself.

That’s fine. LocalQuiver re-reads your listing every hour, so changes you make inside Google flow back, and your website and review page keep up too.

Once a month, we run the same Google Maps search from a grid of points around your business, as if a customer were standing at each one. The standard grid is 25 points, 1 km apart.

You see a map of where you show up, how it compares with last month, who beats you at each point, and two or three things to do next.

Google Maps results change depending on where the person searching is standing, and Google tailors results to each person too. That’s why the rank map checks from lots of points across your area, rather than from one phone in one spot.

ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, each answering from live web results. Once a month, we ask up to four questions a real customer might ask, like “best plumber in” your town, and show you who gets named, how high, and who’s named instead.

AI visibility

Nobody can promise that, and it can’t be bought. What helps is having plenty of good, recent reviews, an accurate Google profile and genuinely helpful articles on your website. AI visibility shows you whether it’s working, and who’s being named instead of you.

We can’t promise any position, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google decides rankings. What LocalQuiver does is the steady work that tends to help: more reviews, replies, an up-to-date profile, a fast website and regular local articles. Search takes months, not days.

Reviews can start arriving once your first requests go out. Search takes longer: think months, not days. Your monthly report shows what’s changing, so you can see the trend for yourself.

Pick the rivals you want to keep an eye on, and every month we check:

  • their Google rating and review count
  • how many new reviews they get a month
  • how often they reply
  • what their customers praise and complain about
  • their AI visibility and map position

The rank map, AI visibility and competitor checks run once a month, and earlier months are kept so you can compare. Your Google profile is re-read every hour.

Website & SEO

Your website, local articles, enquiries and online shop. This is the Website & SEO module, with a free domain included.

A fast website built for you in your brand, Search Agent articles every three days, a contact form that takes photos and files, and an online shop if you sell through Shopify. A domain is included free.

We start from your Google Business Profile: your photos, customer photos, opening hours, services, contact details and reviews. Then we shape it around your brand, with your colours and fonts.

Because the site re-reads your Google profile every hour, things like holiday hours stay up to date by themselves.

Websites

Yes, the Website & SEO module includes a free domain. Already have one? We’ll connect it instead, with a secure certificate set up automatically.

Yes. If your site runs on WordPress, the Search Agent can publish articles straight to it, and review widgets can show your reviews on almost any website. You only move to a LocalQuiver website if you want to.

Yes. It can be a single page, or a page for each of your services plus an About page. Every page gets its own search title, description, photo gallery and questions.

Visitors fill in your contact form and can attach up to five photos or files. Each enquiry lands in your LocalQuiver inbox and is emailed to you, so you can reply by email or phone.

LocalQuiver doesn’t include a booking system, but your main button can go to the booking page you already use, call you, or open your contact form. You can also show the form instead of the call button when you’re closed.

Helpful local articles of 1,200 to 1,800 words, written as your business, about what people near you actually search for. It favours topics you can realistically win, quotes your real reviews where they fit, and answers questions people type into Google. Each article gets a cover image.

Every three days at our standard pace, or weekly or fortnightly if you prefer. With Max, articles can go out up to every day. You can pause at any time.

Yes to both. The Search Agent writes in the first person as your business, and follows your notes on your customers, your area and your style. Articles can wait for your approval, or publish automatically once you trust them.

Only if you want them to. There’s a switch that stops articles mentioning prices at all, and it’s a firm rule the writer can’t get round, not just a suggestion.

It’s built with search in mind: fast hosting, a sitemap, and structured data that tells search engines about your business, services, questions and articles. It stays hidden from Google until it’s ready, then you switch it on. Where it ranks is up to Google, and it takes months, not days.

Yes, through Shopify. Your products appear on your website in its own design, and customers pay on Shopify’s secure checkout, so the money goes straight to you and never through us. You’ll need your own Shopify store; the Basic plan is enough.

Online shop

Yes. You can see visits, popular pages, where visitors came from, their devices and their towns, all without cookies. On your own domain, you can also connect Google Search Console to see how people find you in search.

Your website is hosted on our platform as part of the service, so it stops when your plan ends. Your domain is yours: we’ll disconnect it so you can point it anywhere, and if you ask before you go, we’ll send you the text and images from your site.

Social media

Keeping your social feeds busy with real reviews and on-brand posts. This is the Social module.

It turns your best fresh five-star reviews into branded posts and shares them for you. The Content Studio plans on-brand image posts for you to approve. You can see views, likes and shares in one place.

Your Google Business Profile, Facebook Page, Instagram business account, LinkedIn Page and TikTok, one account each. Instagram and Facebook also get a story version of each review post.

The Social Agent picks your best five-star review from the last 30 days that hasn’t been shared yet. It puts it on a card in your colours, logo and font, writes a short caption and posts it for you, daily, every three days or weekly.

Then it doesn’t post. There’s no filler: only real reviews, when you have them.

Yes. You approve the card designs once, and the Social Agent only ever uses those. You can also share any review by hand from your inbox, tweak the caption, then post it or download it.

Part of the Social module. It plans a calendar of on-brand image posts for your business, each a square image with a caption, built from your logo, colours, fonts and the themes you care about. By default, every post waits for your approval, and you can ask for changes or a fresh version.

Yes. Add up to 16 of your own photos, such as your team, products, work or premises, and the Content Studio works them into posts. You can swap your own photo into any post, too.

No. LocalQuiver posts for you and shows how your posts are doing, but replying to comments and messages stays with you.

It takes care of steady, on-brand posting, which is the part most busy owners never get round to. It doesn’t reply to comments, run paid ads or create videos by itself, so if you need those, you’ll still want a person for them.

Yes. Views, likes, comments and shares from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok show in one place. Google doesn’t share numbers for posts.

Loyalty cards

Digital stamp and points cards that turn first visits into regulars. This is the Loyalty module.

Customers scan a QR code on your counter, add their name and save a stamp or points card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Your team stamps it by scanning the card with any phone or tablet camera, and the customer sees the update on their lock screen.

No app and no account. The card lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which are already on their phone.

Your choice. A stamp card gives a reward after anywhere from 2 to 12 stamps, then starts again. A points card has a menu of rewards, with points typed in or worked out from what the customer spends. You run one card at a time.

No. Your team scans cards with any phone or tablet camera, using a PIN-protected staff link with no login needed. A USB or Bluetooth scanner works too, if you have one. Staff can also look a member up by name, phone or code.

A mis-scan can be undone within 15 minutes.

Yes, to members who ticked the box to hear about offers. Messages arrive as wallet notifications on their phone. You can send to everyone, to people nearly at a reward, to people with a reward waiting, or to people you haven’t seen for a while. Each person hears from you at most once every three days, so it never feels like too much.

Yes. On iPhone, the card can show a lock-screen prompt when a member is near your business, for up to 10 locations. On Android, Google shows a simpler prompt.

No, it works separately from your till. Stamps and points are added by scanning the customer’s card or looking them up.

Yes. Your member list and activity can be exported to a spreadsheet at any time. Members who share an email or phone number also become contacts, ready for a review request.

Invoices

Branded invoices by text or email, made in a minute. This is the Invoices module.

It lets you make an invoice in your logo, colours and fonts in about a minute and send it by text or email. Your customer opens a clean page to view, print or download it, and you can see when they first opened it.

Invoices

By bank transfer. Your bank details appear under the total, with the invoice number as the payment reference, and you mark the invoice as paid when the money arrives. Card payments aren’t part of Invoices.

Yes. The UK 20% VAT rate is ready to go, you can set any other rate, or switch tax off if you’re not VAT registered. Each invoice uses one tax rate.

Yes. Numbering carries on from your old invoices, so there’s no awkward restart.

Each customer you invoice can be added to your contacts. With the Reputation module’s automatic requests switched on, a review request follows on your usual timing, and regulars are asked again on their next invoice until they tap through.

Yes. You see what’s outstanding, what’s overdue, what’s been paid in the last 30 days and any drafts. You can resend, duplicate, cancel or download any invoice.

No. Invoices works on its own, and you can download any invoice as a PDF for your records or your accountant.

Not with Invoices. It’s built for one-off invoices; quotes, estimates and recurring invoices aren’t part of it.
