The agreement between LocalQuiver and the businesses that use it: what we provide, fees and cancelling, what you keep if you leave, and who is responsible.

These terms apply when your business uses LocalQuiver. Please read them carefully. By signing up, you agree to them on behalf of your business.

1. About us and these terms

1.1 LocalQuiver is provided by LocalQuiver Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17408183), registered office 16 Acacia Road, Balderton, Newark, England, NG24 3AE ("we", "us").

1.2 LocalQuiver is for businesses only. By signing up, you confirm you're acting for a business and not as a consumer.

1.3 These terms, your chosen plan, our privacy policy and our data processing terms make up the whole agreement between us.

2. Our service

2.1 LocalQuiver helps local businesses win more customers. Depending on your plan, it includes review collection and replies, your Google Business Profile, a website, local articles, social posts, loyalty cards, invoices and reports. What's in each plan is on our plans page or in your order.

2.2 We set your account up for you. Some features need you to connect accounts you own, such as your Google Business Profile, social media pages, WordPress site or Shopify store, and to give us the access needed.

2.3 We use AI to help draft replies, articles, captions and images. By default, some content waits for your approval. You can choose to let parts run automatically. You're responsible for checking the settings suit you.

2.4 We may improve or change features over time. We won't remove a core part of your plan during a paid period without telling you first.

3. Your responsibilities

3.1 You agree to:

  • give us accurate information and keep it up to date;
  • only connect accounts you're entitled to manage;
  • keep your login details secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used them;
  • use LocalQuiver lawfully, and follow the rules of the platforms you use with it, including Google's.

3.2 You're responsible for the customer data you add to LocalQuiver, and for having a lawful basis to contact your customers. That includes telling them how you use their data. Every review request we send for you includes an opt-out link.

3.3 You must not use LocalQuiver to post fake reviews, offer incentives for reviews, hide or filter out negative reviews, or send unlawful or misleading messages.

4. Fees and payment

4.1 You'll pay the fees for your plan in advance, monthly or yearly, by card through our payment provider.

4.2 Our prices are as shown on our plans page or in your order. If VAT applies, it's shown separately on your invoice.

4.3 We may change our prices by giving you at least 30 days' notice. The change applies from your next billing date after the notice ends.

4.4 If a payment fails, we'll let you know. If it isn't paid within 14 days, we may pause your account until it is.

4.5 Text messages and emails are included up to your plan's monthly allowance. When you reach it, sending pauses until the next month, unless you move to a bigger plan.

5. Length of contract and cancelling

5.1 Monthly plans run month to month. You can cancel at any time by emailing us, and your plan ends at the end of the billing month you cancel in. We don't refund part months.

5.2 Yearly plans run for twelve months from the start date and are paid up front. If you cancel early, your plan carries on until the end of the year you've paid for, and we don't refund the rest of the year.

5.3 We may end the agreement by giving you 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms or don't pay.

6. When you leave

6.1 You keep what's yours: your domain name, your Google Business Profile and its reviews, your social media accounts, articles already published to your own WordPress site, and your loyalty member list and monthly reports, which you can download before you go.

6.2 Websites we build are hosted on our platform as part of the service, so they stop when your subscription ends. We'll disconnect your domain so you can point it somewhere else, and if you ask before you leave, we'll send you the text and images from your website.

6.3 We'll remove our access to your connected accounts and deal with your data as set out in our privacy policy and data processing terms.

7. Content and intellectual property

7.1 Your content stays yours. That includes your logo, photos, text and your customers' reviews. You give us permission to use it as needed to provide the service, for example to publish a review card to your social pages or an article to your website.

7.2 The LocalQuiver software, templates, designs and everything else we provide remain ours, or our licensors'. You may use them only while you're a client.

7.3 We may mention that you're a client, for example with your logo on our website, only if you agree first.

8. Results

We work hard to help you win more customers, but we can't guarantee specific results. Nobody can promise a position on Google, a number of reviews, or a recommendation from an AI assistant. Search results take months, not days.

9. Other services

LocalQuiver connects to services run by other companies, such as Google, Meta, Shopify and WordPress. We're not responsible for those services, their availability, or changes to them, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

10. Availability and support

We aim to keep LocalQuiver available all the time, but we can't guarantee it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or a supplier outage. Support is by email at hello@localquiver.co.uk, and we aim to reply within one working day.

11. Our liability

11.1 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.

11.2 We're not liable for loss of profits, sales, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

11.3 Otherwise, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll tell you about important changes at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

13. General

13.1 If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

13.2 If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.

13.3 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
