Invoices for electricians
Finish the EICR, add the inspection and any remedial work, and send a branded invoice by email or text in a minute. Your bank details sit under the total, VAT is worked out for you, and the customer joins your contacts so the review request can follow.

How it works for electricians
Every line clear to the customer
List the consumer unit, the surge protection device, the cable and the labour, each with a quantity and price. UK VAT is preset, other rates work, and tax can be switched off entirely if you’re not registered.
Email for agents, text for homeowners
Letting agents get a PDF by email for their records, while a homeowner might prefer a text with a link. Both open a clean page to view, print or download in PDF or Word.
See who has opened it
Each invoice shows when the customer first opened it, so you know a landlord has seen it before you pick up the phone. Outstanding, overdue, paid in the last 30 days and drafts each sit in their own list.
Your numbering, carried on
Start from where your old invoice numbers left off, so your records stay in one sequence. Duplicate, cancel, download or send any invoice again, handy for the letting agent who books an EICR on the same flat every few years.
A Friday afternoon at Redmarsh Electrical
Three EICRs for one landlord, invoiced before tea
Hannah inspects three flats for the same landlord in one day. In the van between the second and third, she makes the first invoice, then duplicates it twice and changes the flat number on each. All three go by email with the PDF attached, bank details and invoice numbers in place. On Monday she can see they’ve been opened, and when the transfer lands midweek she marks them paid. The landlord is now in her contacts, ready to be asked for a review.
An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.
The film
A one-minute look at LocalQuiver's invoices: add the customer, the job and the price, send a branded invoice by text or email, or download it, and let the customer view it on their phone. It works the same way for electricians. Review requests follow an invoice on plans with automatic requests, when they're switched on. Regulars are asked again on later invoices until they click through.

Questions
Not through LocalQuiver. The invoice shows your bank details with its number as the reference, the customer pays by transfer, and you mark it paid. If you take cards on a separate reader, you can still mark the invoice paid once the money is in.
No. There are no quotes or estimates in LocalQuiver, only invoices. Keep pricing jobs the way you do now, and use LocalQuiver for the final invoice, with the customer added to your contacts so a review request can follow.
No. UK VAT is preset, you can use any other rate, or switch tax off altogether if you’re not registered. Each invoice uses one rate, and the totals are worked out for you, so the sums are never your job.
