Staff leaderboard for electricians

When a rewire finishes on time and the house is left tidy, customers name the electrician, not the firm. The staff leaderboard gives each of your team their own review link and QR, then counts the reviews that mention them, so the people doing the careful work finally get seen for it.

How it works for electricians

01

A card left with the certificate

Each electrician can leave a card with their QR alongside the certificate and paperwork, wear it on a lanyard, or text their link before they drive off. Every scan counts as a visit for them, then opens your normal review page.

02

Nicknames on site count too

Add the names customers actually use, like Rich for Richard or Ade for Adrian, and the full name always counts. Reviews from Google, Checkatrade, Facebook and Trustpilot that mention a person are credited to them, matching whole words only.

03

Apprentices on the board too

Add apprentices and electrician’s mates as well as qualified sparks. Customers sometimes thank the whole pair, and a review naming both counts for both, so the newer members of the team can see their own name on the board alongside everyone else’s.

04

Coaching from real comments

Each person’s page shows their stats over time and every review that mentions them. Use it at the monthly catch-up to share what customers noticed, like a clear walk-through of the new consumer unit or dust sheets over the carpets.

A full diary at Sedgecombe Electrical

Four electricians and an apprentice on one board

Sedgecombe Electrical has four electricians, an apprentice and a diary full of rewires and EV chargers. Leanne, who runs the office, wanted the whole team to see the praise that came in after jobs, not just the owner. She added everyone to the staff leaderboard, with Ade for Adrian, and each of them texted their link to customers once the job was signed off. At the end of the month, the board put Kieran, the apprentice, in the top three, mostly for being polite and tidy. Leanne pinned the podium up in the stores.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

The film

How the staff leaderboard gives everyone on the team their own review link and QR code, credits reviews that mention them by name, and ranks the team by visits, review clicks, reviews and conversion, with an optional public board. It works the same way for electricians.

Questions

They don’t need to make a speech. Leaving a card with the paperwork or texting a link at the end of the job is enough, and the customer chooses whether to review. Every link opens the same review page, with the same public buttons for everyone.

Yes. If a customer thanks Ade and Kieran for the rewire, the review counts for both of them. A nickname shared by two people also counts for both, so it’s worth giving each person the names customers really use to tell them apart.

Wherever the team looks. The optional public leaderboard has its own link, so it can sit in the team chat, on a screen in the office or on a printout in the stores. It updates by itself in your own branding, and switching it off stops the link.
