Automations for electricians

Asking for reviews is easy to forget when you’re testing circuits all day. With automatic requests on, every new customer is enrolled and asked by text or email on your chosen timing, with up to two follow-ups. It stops when they tap through, and LocalQuiver can connect your job software via Zapier.

How it works for electricians

01

Starts when the job is logged

Customers added by hand, imported, invoiced or sent from your job software all join the sequence. The wait runs from when they’re added, or from the job date and time, anywhere from straight away up to 72 hours.

02

Two follow-ups, then quiet

After the opening message come up to two follow-ups, each waiting the hours or days you set. Tapping through to a review site, recording a video or sending feedback ends the sequence for that customer.

03

Respectful by design

Every text carries an opt-out link and every email an unsubscribe. Opt-outs are kept per channel and checked before each send, and sequences are checked every 15 minutes, so timings stay close to what you set.

04

Online or Manual, at a glance

Every agent is marked Online, working hands-free, or Manual, drafting and waiting for your say-so. Review imports, monthly scans and your report on the 1st all run without anyone pressing a button.

Asked politely. Followed up for you.

  1. Review request Text or email, after the visit
  2. Friendly reminder A couple of days later
  3. Taps through to review Follow-ups stop by themselves

A busy month at Brackenby Electrical

EV installs all week, and every customer asked

Lee and his apprentice fit chargers and boards across the week, and nobody has time to text customers. LocalQuiver has connected Brackenby’s job software via Zapier, so a finished job adds the customer with the job date and time. A day later, a short text asks for a review. If there’s no tap after three days, a follow-up email goes out, then one more. Anyone who taps through hears nothing further. Lee just reads the inbox at the weekend.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

The film

How LocalQuiver asks every new customer for a review automatically, times the first message, sends up to two follow-ups that stop once the customer taps through, and runs each agent's scheduled work. It works the same way for electricians.

0:02Busy days are when asking for a review gets forgotten.

0:06So every new customer is asked automatically, whether they're typed in, imported, invoiced, or added from your job software through Zapier.

0:15You choose when the first message goes: straight away, or up to 72 hours later, counted from when they're added, or from the job date.

0:23If it's missed, up to two gentle follow-ups go out by text or email, each waiting the hours or days you set.

0:31And the moment they tap through to a review site, it stops by itself.

0:37Meanwhile, the rest runs on its own schedule: reviews imported, Google replies posted, articles written, posts shared, and your monthly report waiting on the first.

0:47Every agent shows Online, working hands-free, or Manual, drafting and waiting for your OK.

0:54You do the job. The asking takes care of itself.

0:59LocalQuiver. Your marketing, sorted.

Questions

LocalQuiver can connect your job software via Zapier. If your software works with Zapier, we set it up so a finished job adds the customer or sends a review request. It’s configured by us rather than something you install, and there are no built-in links to particular packages.

No. Scheduled one-off sends aren’t available. Sequences go out on the timing you set after each customer is added or after their job, and you can send a single request by hand whenever you like.

The sequence stops as soon as they tap through from your message to a review site, so they won’t get the follow-ups. Nobody can see who actually wrote a review, which is why tapping through is the trigger rather than the review itself.
