Review widgets for dental practices

Plenty of practices are happy with the website they have. A review widget adds your best Google, Facebook and Trustpilot reviews to it with one line of code, updates by itself as new ones arrive, and stays sealed off from your site’s styles so nothing clashes.

How it works for dental practices

01

Eight styles to choose from

Choose a Wall of Love for a testimonials page, a Rating Badge by your new-patient button, a Carousel on treatment pages or a gentle Floating Bubble. There are eight types in all, each in light or dark with your brand accent.

02

You choose which reviews show

Set a minimum star rating, which starts at four, filter by keywords such as “nervous” or “children”, or hand-pick the reviews you’re proudest of. Reviewer photos, dates and platform badges can each be switched on or off.

03

Light, fast and self-contained

The widget is about 9 KB and loads without slowing or blocking the page, on WordPress, Squarespace or a hand-built site. Your rating and up to five reviews also go into the page’s structured data, unless a rating is already declared there.

A Tuesday at Penmarsh Dental

A tired testimonials page comes back to life

Penmarsh Dental’s website was built by a specialist agency a few years ago, and its testimonials page still shows the same four quotes. Mark, the practice manager, pastes one line of code into it, picks the Wall of Love and filters for reviews mentioning nervous patients. A Rating Badge goes beside the new-patient button. The next week, a new review from a once-anxious patient appears on the wall without anyone touching the site.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

The film

Review widgets put a business's best reviews on any website that accepts HTML with one line of code, in eight styles, light or dark in the brand colour, filtered by minimum stars, keyword or hand-picked, with new reviews appearing within a few minutes. It works the same way for dental practices.

Questions

No. Websites LocalQuiver builds already show your best reviews by themselves. Widgets are for practices keeping their existing site, perhaps one made by a dental web agency, who still want fresh reviews on its pages.

Nobody can promise that. The widget adds your rating to the page’s structured data, but Google decides whether to show stars, and it doesn’t for a homepage. Think of it as a way to reassure patients already on your site.

Not at the moment. Widgets show written reviews, with an optional reviewer photo, date and platform badge. Video testimonials stay in your Reviews inbox, where you can play and download them.
