Staff leaderboard for dental practices

Patients often thank the hygienist who put them at ease or the receptionist who found them a same-week appointment. The staff leaderboard gives every member of your practice team their own review link and QR, counts the reviews that name them, and shows it all on one calm, simple board.

How it works for dental practices

01

Each person’s link, offered gently

A receptionist can keep their QR on a small card at the front desk, and a dentist or hygienist can wear theirs on a name badge. Every scan opens your practice’s usual review page, with the same public buttons for every patient.

02

Names written the way patients write them

Patients may use a first name, or a title and surname. Add the forms they really use for each person, alongside the full name, and the board counts every Google, Facebook or Trustpilot review that mentions them, matching whole words only.

03

Private unless you choose otherwise

The board lives in your dashboard. If you’d like a live version for the staff room, the optional public leaderboard shows in your practice’s own branding, and switching it off at any time means its link stops working.

04

Recognition at the practice meeting

Each person’s page shows the reviews that mention them and a chart over time. Reading a few kind words at the monthly practice meeting is a simple way to recognise the people patients value, from the dental nurse to the practice manager.

A practice meeting at Thornacre Dental

Two hygienists, a busy desk and a pleasant surprise

Thornacre Dental has four dentists, two hygienists and a busy front desk. Claire, the practice manager, wanted to recognise the people patients mentioned, without anything feeling like a sales target. She added the whole team to the staff leaderboard, including the names patients actually write, and gave each receptionist a QR card for the desk. At the next practice meeting, she showed the month’s board: Ellie, one of the hygienists, was named most, often by patients who had been anxious. Claire read two of those reviews aloud, and the room went quiet in a good way.

The film

How the staff leaderboard gives everyone on the team their own review link and QR code, credits reviews that mention them by name, and ranks the team by visits, review clicks, reviews and conversion, with an optional public board. It works the same way for dental practices.

0:02Your team asks for reviews every day. But you can't see who's actually bringing them in.

0:08So add your team, with a photo and the nicknames customers really use, like Sammy for Sam.

0:14Everyone gets their own review link and QR code, for a name badge, or one of our tap cards.

0:20Every scan, tap or click counts for them, then opens your usual review page, the same for every customer.

0:28And when a review mentions them by name, on any connected review site, it's credited to them too.

0:34The leaderboard shows visits, review clicks, reviews and conversion, for any period, with a podium for the top three.

0:42You can even switch on a live public leaderboard, in your own branding, for the staff-room screen or the team chat.

0:49See who's winning you reviews, give them a shout-out, and enjoy a little friendly competition.

Questions

No. A staff link simply opens your practice’s normal review page, with the same choices for everyone, and the patient writes whatever they like. The board then counts the reviews that happen to mention a team member by name.

Not necessarily, and the board doesn’t claim it. It matches names in the review text, so a review praising Ellie counts for Ellie. It isn’t a record of appointments or who saw whom, just a clear view of who patients choose to mention.

A name shared by two people counts for both, so add the way patients tell them apart, such as the surname they use after Dr. Each person’s page lists the reviews that mention them, so you can check the matches whenever you like.
