Websites for restaurants

People check your menu, your hours and your reviews before they decide. We build you a fast website in your brand with all three front and centre, kept current from your Google profile every hour, with a main button that goes straight to the booking page you already use.

How it works for restaurants

01

Your menu, built in

Upload your menus as PDFs or have them typed out on the page, from à la carte to the early-bird set menu and the Christmas party menu. Typed menus read far better on a phone than a photo of a printed card.

02

A button for how you book

Point the main button at your own booking page, make it ring the restaurant or open an enquiry form. Out of hours, it can show the form instead of a phone number nobody is there to answer.

03

Reviews and hours that update themselves

Up to 24 of your best reviews show and refresh on their own. Opening hours, holiday hours included, come from Google with an open now label, and your map link and photos follow the same listing.

04

Party and private dining enquiries

The contact form takes up to five attachments, handy for an office sending a seating plan or a dietary list. Every enquiry is emailed to you and kept in your inbox, so Christmas party requests stay in one place rather than a notebook.

Sunday lunch here is a family tradition now.

A September Monday at Saffron Yard

Christmas party enquiries, all in one place this year

Neha manages Saffron Yard, and Christmas party enquiries used to arrive by phone, Facebook message and notes by the till. On the new website, Christmas parties have their own page with the set menu as a PDF, and the main button goes to their usual booking page. Bigger groups use the enquiry form. In September, an office manager sent one with a dietary list attached. Neha found it in the inbox and her email, and rang back that afternoon.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

The film

LocalQuiver builds a fast website in your brand on your own domain, starting from your Google Business Profile, with your best reviews on show, a contact form that takes photos and files to your inbox and email, and a blog kept fresh by the Search Agent. It works the same way for restaurants.

Questions

The website doesn’t take bookings itself, because you already have a way of doing that. The main button can go straight to your existing booking page, call the restaurant or open an enquiry form, and you choose which one suits you.

Yes. Menus can be uploaded as a PDF, which is quickest when the chef changes dishes each week, or typed out on the page so they read well on a phone. Swapping in the new Christmas menu is a single upload.

It’s best to use one, and we connect it with a security certificate set up automatically. If you don’t have one yet, the site can start on a free address. It stays hidden from Google until it’s ready, then a single switch lets Google show it.
