Email marketing for restaurants

Your best guests would happily come back more often if they knew about the new menu or the midweek set price. Branded emails built by drag and drop or written with AI reach them in their inbox, and an autopilot newsletter shares your latest articles and best reviews.

How it works for restaurants

01

Menus and events, straight to guests

Got a new seasonal menu, a wine evening or Christmas bookings opening? Build one branded email with a photo, a few lines and a Book a table button, greet each guest by first name, and schedule it for when people plan their week.

02

Midweek offers for quieter nights

Add an offer block with an optional discount code, like a free dessert with any main from Tuesday to Thursday. It goes to everyone on your list, and the report shows who opened it and who clicked through.

03

Your reviews, in their inbox

Add a favourite review to any email with a review block, or let the newsletter pick a great one for you. A guest’s own words about the lamb or the service say more than any description you could write.

04

A list that grows itself

A “Get our news & offers” box sits in your website’s footer, your contact form can carry an optional tick, and loyalty members who said yes to offers join in one click. Nobody is ever added without saying yes.

Christmas bookings at Saffron Yard

Christmas bookings, opened to the list first

Every year Saffron Yard’s Christmas tables went to whoever rang first. This year Arjun, who runs the front of house, asked the AI for an email opening Christmas bookings to the restaurant’s subscribers a week before anyone else. He added the set menu as a photo, a Book a table button and one guest’s review of last year’s party, then scheduled it for Sunday evening. By Monday the report showed who had opened it and clicked through, and the phone was busy.

Questions

Only if they’ve agreed to hear from you directly. Email marketing sends to people who signed up on your website, ticked the box on your contact form, said yes when joining your loyalty card, or gave you permission and were added by hand. A booking on its own isn’t permission for marketing emails.

Not yet. Each campaign goes to everyone on your list who’s subscribed, so write it for your regulars as a whole. Most restaurant news, like a new menu, a wine evening or Christmas bookings, suits everyone anyway. The report then shows who opened it and who clicked through.

Yes. Your header and footer carry your logo and colours, and you add your own photos of the dining room and the dishes. Preview it on desktop and mobile, send yourself a test, and only then send it or schedule it for later.
