AI review replies for restaurants

Replying to reviews is the job that waits until Monday, then waits again. Our Review Agent answers your four and five-star Google reviews in your voice, picking up the dish or the server the guest mentioned, and leaves anything trickier for you with a draft ready.

How it works for restaurants

01

Replies that sound like your restaurant

Choose friendly, professional, fun or quirky, set how long replies should be and add your own sign-off, like Tom and the team. List anything it must never say, such as promising a free dessert next time.

02

Visitors answered in their language

A tourist who writes in French or Italian gets a reply in French or Italian, and locals get plain British English. Either way the reply is built from what they wrote, so it never invents a dish they didn’t order.

03

The hard ones wait for you

By default, reviews under four stars aren’t answered automatically. They sit in your inbox with a calm draft you can soften, sharpen or rewrite, then post when you’re ready. Reply to anything yourself and the agent skips it.

04

Tripadvisor drafts, ready to paste

The agent posts on Google only. For Tripadvisor and Facebook it writes a draft in the same inbox for you to paste across. On Google, replies mention the things you want to be found for, like Sunday lunch, where it reads naturally.

Asked politely. Followed up for you.

  1. Review request Text or email, after the visit
  2. Friendly reminder A couple of days later
  3. Taps through to review Follow-ups stop by themselves

A bank holiday weekend at Saffron Yard

The old backlog cleared, and the new ones answered

Arjun had stopped replying to reviews at Saffron Yard, his Indian restaurant, years ago. When the Review Agent was switched on, catch-up mode began working through the old ones, ten a day. Over the bank holiday weekend, new Google reviews were answered during the hours he’d set, including a German family who got their reply in German. A three-star about a slow Saturday wait sat in his inbox with a draft. He added a line about the extra chef and posted it himself.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

The film

The Review Agent replies to new Google reviews in the tone you choose and posts under your business name; by default four- and five-star reviews are answered on their own, lower ratings wait for you with a draft, and other platforms get a draft to copy and paste. It works the same way for restaurants.

Questions

Not by default. It answers four and five-star Google reviews on its own and holds the rest for a person. You get a draft built from what the guest wrote, which you can edit and post, or replace with your own words entirely.

New reviews are picked up every hour and replies post during the hours you allow, 8am to 8pm unless you change it. So a review left after a late Friday service is usually answered on Saturday morning, not in the middle of the night.

Yes, where it reads naturally. You give it a few phrases you’d like to be found for and it works them in when the review gives it a reason to, rather than forcing them into every reply. It won’t praise a dish the guest never mentioned.
