Email marketing for plumbers

Most households only need a plumber once or twice a year, and by then they’ve forgotten your name. A short, branded email before winter, or a monthly newsletter of your helpful articles, keeps you in mind, built by drag and drop or written with AI in your voice.

How it works for plumbers

01

A pre-winter boiler email

Every September, send one branded email to everyone on your list: book your boiler service before the cold snap. Add an offer block with an optional discount code, a Book a service button and a five-star review, and schedule it for a weekday morning.

02

Helpful advice, in their inbox

Your Search Agent articles answer the questions customers really ask, like why a boiler loses pressure. A monthly autopilot newsletter gathers them with a great review and a short intro in your voice, so you stay helpful between jobs.

03

Customers who said yes, from your form

When someone sends an enquiry through your website, they can tick a box to hear news and offers from you, never ticked for them. The ones who do join your list, ready for the next email.

04

See who’s interested

Each email’s report shows who opened it and who clicked, plus a click map of the links people tapped. If a dozen people clicked Book a service, you can see exactly who they were.

Late September at Ashmere Plumbing

One email before the first cold snap

Ashmere Plumbing’s phone rings off the hook in the first cold week, and many of the calls are boilers nobody serviced. This year Sian asked the AI for a short email to everyone on the list: book your service now and skip the queue. She added a Book a service button, a review from a customer whose boiler was fixed on a freezing Sunday and a winter discount with the code WARMUP, then scheduled it for a Monday morning in late September.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

Questions

Not automatically. Email marketing sends campaigns and newsletters to everyone on your list, rather than reminders timed to each job. A pre-winter email to all your subscribers does a similar job for most plumbers, and you choose exactly when it goes.

Only those who’ve agreed to marketing emails, like customers who ticked the box on your contact form or people who gave you permission and were added by hand. Having done a job for someone isn’t, on its own, permission to send them offers.

One good email a season can bring back jobs you’d otherwise lose to whoever’s top of Google that day. We set it up for you, the AI can draft each email and autopilot can send a monthly newsletter, so it only takes a few minutes when you want it to.
