Email marketing for cafés

When the autumn menu lands or Tuesdays go quiet, an email reaches the people who already love your coffee. Build it by drag and drop or let the AI write it in your voice, and an autopilot newsletter shares your latest articles and best reviews for you.

How it works for cafés

01

New menus, told to regulars

Pumpkin spice is back, the brunch menu has changed or you’re open late for the Christmas lights. Send one branded email with a photo, a line or two and a button, greeting each subscriber by first name, and schedule it for the morning.

02

Your loyalty members, one click away

Customers who said yes to news and offers when they joined your loyalty card can be added to your email list in one click. The people who already come back most get to hear about the new bakes first.

03

Offers for the quiet hours

Add an offer block with an optional discount code, like a free cake with any coffee after 2pm this week. It goes to everyone on your list, and the report shows how many opened it and clicked through.

04

A newsletter that fills itself

Pick monthly and autopilot gathers your new articles and a great review, writes a short intro in your voice and sends it. Ask to approve each issue and it’s drafted two days early, so nothing goes out unseen.

Autumn menu week at Thimble Coffee

One email for the new autumn menu

Hollie had a new autumn menu at Thimble Coffee and no easy way to tell her regulars. She added the loyalty members who had said yes to offers, then asked the AI for a short email about the spiced apple buns and the new oat chai. She swapped in her own photo, added a free bun with any large coffee using the code AUTUMN, sent herself a test and scheduled it for Friday at 7am. The click map showed most people tapped the menu photo.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

Questions

Only people who’ve agreed to hear from you. That’s website signups, customers who ticked the box on your contact form, loyalty members who said yes to news and offers, and anyone you add by hand with their permission. A card payment on its own isn’t permission to send marketing emails.

Often enough to be missed, not so often you’re ignored. A monthly newsletter, plus an email when there’s a new menu or a seasonal offer, is a good rhythm for most cafés. Autopilot can send weekly, every two weeks or monthly, and you can send a one-off whenever there’s news.

No. Start from a template, from your latest articles and reviews, or tell the AI what you want to say. Your header and footer carry your logo and colours, and blocks for photos, offers, reviews and buttons drag into place. You can change any word before it goes.
