Email marketing for pubs and bars

Chalkboards only reach the people already at the bar. A branded email tells your regulars about the quiz, the big match, the new guest ale or Christmas bookings, built by drag and drop or written with AI, and an autopilot newsletter keeps them up to date for you.

How it works for pubs and bars

01

A newsletter that sends itself

Pick weekly, every two weeks or monthly. Autopilot gathers your new articles, social posts and a great review, writes a short intro in your voice and sends it to your subscribers. Ask to approve each issue and it waits for you, drafted two days early.

02

Big nights, told in time

Got the darts final, a tribute band or the rugby on the big screen? Ask the AI for a short email about it, add a photo and a Book a table button, and schedule it for the Monday before.

03

Offers for the quieter nights

Add an offer block with an optional discount code, like a free pudding with any roast or two-for-one burgers on a Tuesday. Everyone on your list gets it, and you can see who opened it and who clicked.

04

Regulars on the list

Pubs with a loyalty card can add members who said yes to news and offers in one click, and walkers and visitors planning a trip can sign up from the “Get our news & offers” box in your website’s footer.

A new guest ale at The Tinker’s Hare

A monthly newsletter, approved over a pint

Dan runs The Tinker’s Hare with his sister and never had time for a newsletter. He switched on autopilot, monthly, with approval turned on. Two days before the first issue, the draft was waiting in his dashboard: the month’s articles about the beer garden and the quiz league, a great review from a walking group and a short intro in his voice. Dan added a line about the new guest ale, approved it from his phone at the bar, and it went out on the Friday.

An illustration of how it works, not a real customer.

Questions

Yes. You can add people by hand, as long as they’ve given you permission, so a signup sheet can be typed in. Easier still, a table card can point people to the signup box on your website, and loyalty members who said yes to offers join in one click.

A weekly or monthly newsletter, plus an email for the big nights, is a good rhythm. Autopilot handles the newsletter on the day you choose, and one-off campaigns cover the darts final or Christmas bookings. Every email has an unsubscribe link, so the list stays people who want to hear from you.

No. Email marketing sends emails only, and we don’t send marketing texts. Loyalty card members who said yes to offers can also get wallet messages on their lock screen, which is a separate part of the Loyalty module.
